Kimberly Miller

Kim is one of the 2 owners and operators of Mudpuppy. She has been working as a groomer for the last 8 years, has run her own business for the last 5 years and is also a qualified Veterinary Nurse. She has a bichon called Millie, a x-breed called Zara, a burmese cat called Sugar, 9 sheep, 16 chickens, and also 3 children Emersyn, Jesakah and Jakob and a husband! She also coaches her daughters Netball Team and she is one of the main groomers at Mudpuppy.

Melissa & Kevin

Melissa is the other co-owner of Mudpuppy and Groomer in Training! She is also a member of NZ Groomers Assn. She previously worked at Fisher & Paykel for 25 yrs as financial Clerk .She is a member of the NZ Kennel Club and has had extensive experience in handling and preparing Schnauzers for shows. Melissa and her partner Kevin have 2 Top winning Miniature Schnauzers Reggie and Colin, 1 Giant Schnauzer Merlin, NZ top winning Giant and bred and owned Multi Best in Show and Speciality Rottweilers.Melissa and Kevin have owned and bred Rottweilers for 25 years, . Melissa has appeared in Tux Wonder Dogs with Chloe(Rottie) and was a trainer at Taieri Canine Training Club for 10 Years and her and Kevin still do Show Training at Forrester Park. Kevin is our local handyman and he also processes all our fresh pet meats. He has also on the odd occasion been seen out the back with the girls washing the dogs!

Amy

Amy has been at Mudpuppy for 3 years and is training to be a professional groomer. She has a standard poodle Keira,a Lowchen called Pepsi, 1 rainbow lorrikeet, 1 Electus, 4 cats, 4 goats, 5 sheep, 14 chickens and 14 miniture horses which she breeds and shows. She is also a member of the NZ Miniature Horse Association.

Adele

Adele has been with us at Mudpuppy since Nov 2009, but prior to this she has had 13 years grooming experience and running her own grooming shop. She has been breeding and showing Cavaliers for 21 years and is a member of the NZKC. She has been a steward for the All Breed Show and has also shown a variety of different breeds and handled Chinese Crested up to Best In Show Specialty. She also has her own wee family of Cavaliers and Niki her youngest frequently visits the shop.

Hayley

Hayley works out in the reception in the evenings and is learning the basics of professional grooming. She has studied her Animal Care certificate from Otago Polytech and has always wanted to work with animals. She has a Huntaway Rhodesian Ridgeback Cross called Coco.

Fleur

Fleur is newest addition to the Mudpuppy family. She is the top bather and dryer and is starting to learn the art of clipping and working in the reception. Fleur has 2 children, a huntaway x called Chezabelle, a LARGE flock of sheep and a tractor loving husband.
